Ain't No Party Like a Latke Party, 'Cause a Latke Party Don't Stop (Don't Stop)
Back in all its glory for the 11th year in a row, the holiday party of all holiday parties, Latkepalooza is coming and will be the party to be at on December 24th. Also known as Christmas Eve to all the goys out there, here in Seattle the 5th night of Hanukkah will be celebrated in style with special guests, mouth watering delights -- and hopefully loads of holiday booze.
That's right, Jconnect and the Jewish Federation's YAD are partnering again for the hottest Jewish party you'll find all year. DJ Nicky B will be spinning (tunes, not dreidels!) and The Baltic Room will also be coming up with some fun themed drinks to wash down plenty of greasy, tasty latkes (potato pancakes to the laymen).
As a special treat, Dave's Killer Bread recently launched a line of bagels, so party-goers can expect some delicious treats over the course of the evening between that and a few other surprises.
The party starts at 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 24th at the legendary Capitol Hill club, The Baltic Room, and will go until we shut the place down (or you know, there's a tragic grease fire. Just kidding!) Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 the week of, and $25 at the door. Likely best to reserve your tickets, as I checked the Facebook page for the event recently, and they are moving fast. This party will fill up and again, it's the biggest Jewish party of the year here.
It's the perfect activity on the Saturday where most people will be trapped inside with their cheek-pinching grandmothers eating stale fruitcakes, so come out and party Hanukkah-style at the Baltic Room. L'chaim!
