Over the month of December I am planning to delight you with tales of my adventures as a concert photographer in 2011. They may be the best shots I took, or the best moments I experienced. Either way, it would be a shame for those to fall by the wayside and be left sitting dormant in my feeble mind. Keep coming back, there'll be a new one each day.

Allen Stone at Wild Buffalo in Bellingham

In the last year he's been on Conan, wowed countless audiences with his soulful voice, become a featured artist on iTunes and Amazon.com and began a tour in Europe. You could say Allen Stone is on his way up.

With those huge glasses, cosby sweater cardigan and Sonics jersey he's got an unmistakable look and with a huge smile most often gracing his face Allen Stone is one of those guys that you want to know.

I was lucky enough to see him headlining a show with Hot Bodies in Motion at the Bellingham hotspot Wild Buffalo. It was truly an unforgettable night with several friends surrounding me who had also made the trek up north. Admittedly I had come for HBIM but I was in pure awe when Allen and his band took the stage.
